Thank you for your interest in applying to be a member of The Scripps Voice editorial board! Applications for these positions open at the beginning of the fall semester for each academic year and are dependent on rollover from the prior academic year. Please contact [email protected] to inquire about what positions are open at any given time. All positions are open to both work study and non-work study students. Descriptions for all editorial positions are available below.
To apply, please email [email protected] and tell us a bit about yourself (what role you’re interested in, any applicable experience in journalism). Following an initial review of applications, you may be contacted for an interview with members of our editorial board.
Editorial positions are paid the minimum wage of the city of Claremont; all other general staff members are compensated with Motley coupons (one per article or photo collection). Students from all 5Cs are encouraged to join our general staff, but editorial positions are reserved for Scripps students. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, contact the Editors-in-Chief.
