Following a campaign started by Kaela Fong ‘19 for Scripps students to be able to keep their .edu emails, Scripps has decided to extend the length of time that alumni will have access to their Scripps email accounts.
“Now more than ever we want graduating students to stay connected to the College, and to programs, resources, and community members that provide continuity as they enter the job market or pursue advanced degrees” said Virginia Halverson, Executive Director of Institutional Engagement.
However, Halverson declined to comment on the exact length of time that alum will have access to these emails.
“The College is evaluating various options for alumni email addresses moving forward, and weighing the merits and costs of alternative approaches,” Halverson said.
